Painting Nails

Painting my girls' nails today, Erin said out of the blue, "I get when God."
Me: "Huh?"
Erin: "I gonna paint God's toenails!"

Computers

Papa asked Ella, "Does your preschool have computers?"
Ella replied, "No, but they have Lightbrights."

Ella - 10/22

When telling Ella that "free" is something you don't have to pay for, she replies with: "free is to escape from your troubles." How old is this kid? Oh yeah, she is 4.

Ella:

"Momma, I have to tell you something. I know why the bugs always eat your garden food. They like yours the best."

Ella wants to journal:

Hello. I am good. Goodbye. Thanks for the ABC's. I love you, Momma, very much. I love the way of your doing. 123.

I love the smell of flowers and the good day today and the way I'm doing. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ. Now, I am good for the day.

Sincerely,
Bye bye.

And I love the way I'm doing the way I love.
I am four. Do you know I am good, the girl who my mommy loves and I love?

Ella says...

"I'm happy because I love you and because of the smell of flowers."

Farts

So, I may not be the best mom in the world in some people's opinion, but I did make a wonderful discovery today. Ella frequently throws tantrums when she's overstimulated or over-tired, just completely loses control of herself and can't regain it....so, today, when she did just that....I started "farting" with my lips. Her screams instantly turned into hysterical giggling. I "farted" for a good half hour because her laughing was so nice to hear...and as I was leaving her room, she said, "Mom?
I said, "What do you need?"
She said, "Can you please fart some more?"
How could I resist?
